Friends of Tenth Street Park

This has been a busy spring for the Friends of the Tenth Street Park.  We have been working with the Mayor’s office, Councilman Evans’ office, the Department of Parks and Recreation, and the community to shore up support, funding, and design concepts for the park.  The result of all our hard work is the groundbreaking ceremony for the park scheduled for the week of June 15, 2009.  Although we do not yet have a firm date or time for the ceremony, we will post it as soon as we know it.  We hope you will come out to the ceremony and show your support for the park.  Stay tuned for more details….
